Global climate change and the issue of water being needed by 2.2 billion people
Our thoughts started when we saw children who had no choice but to drink contaminated water. Aiming to solve water problems that are increasing year by year, we decided to develop technologies that can be used in areas where infrastructure development is difficult. Producing water from the air is seemingly simple, but it is difficult to develop a technology to continuously produce safe drinking water. MIZUHA’s challenge started here.
Connecting one technology to anotherDifficulty in producing drinking water
The technology development was full of errors. In order to ensure safety levels suitable for drinking water, water filtration, antibacterial measures, and programming were repeated in countless trials and errors, and for filters and antibacterial measures that affect water quality, a unique system was created by developing and manufacturing original products that produce maximum effect in the smallest space, instead of incorporating ready-made products on the market. It was difficult to achieve if even one was missing.
01Introduction of development model
Original silver ion system was developed.
Through trials and errors, a product incorporating the original silver ion system was developed. This was the first development model.
Silver ions enabled the water itself to have sterilization ability. We thoroughly measured how long the generated water would maintain water quality that complies with water quality standards to improve safety. The silver ion system and carbon filter improved comprehensive water quality.

02Introduction of prototype for mass production
We want a product to support people.
We developed a model for mass production to be able to increase the amount of water produced and improve the water quality. We also appointed a product designer to develop a user-friendly product design. We improved the size of the housing optimized for the heat exchanger, total weight, and operating noise while considering the appearance and texture.
03Success in water quality tests
The water quality standards were met and safety was certified.
The prototype product complied with the water quality standards [26-item water quality test for food production], and the safety of the product was certified.

04Introduction of mass-production model
To be able to use in comfort
We have further enhanced the product functionality and have adopted a compact heat exchanger to redesign the housing. Normal and silent operation modes have been added so that the noise levels can be optimized for home use. Carbon filter cartridge improved maintainability.

Supplying safe water to the world
KuSui has realized the form of a product for supplying safe water to the world that we envisaged. KuSui, which supplies safe drinking water to people as an alternative to traditional water infrastructure, is a symbol of our vision. No one needs to drink contaminated water anymore.
