MIZUHA's "KuSui" was exhibited at the "Blue Carbon Expo 2023" hosted by Marine Tourism Development Co., Ltd. (Naha City, Okinawa). During the event, more than 200 people enjoyed a one-hour Blue Carbon cruise and tasted the water from KuSui.

"Blue carbon" refers to carbon absorbed and stored in ecosystems such as seaweed, seagrasses, and mangroves, and is attracting attention as a new CO2 sink.
Marine Tourism Development is expanding awareness and promoting Blue Carbon through Blue Carbon Cruise (SDGs practice tour), an underwater sightseeing tour of coral reefs while collecting data on CO2 in seawater.
MIZUHA has been providing "KuSui" to Marine Tourism Development since 2020, and is working together with the company to address the SDGs.
